BACKSTORY

ㅤㅤㅤon december 29, 1996, a hybrid vampire was born to a clan of vampires in transylvania, romania. sorana lerae is half-human and half-vampire. her father is a full-blooded vampire and the leader of vladislav, the strongest sept known in romania. her mother is a mere human who died on her accouchement. living as a hybrid vampire was not easy for young sorana. vampires constantly looked down on her since she was nothing like her father in their eyes.ㅤㅤㅤopposite to what everyone knows, sorana got all of his father's attributes. she inherited superstrength and superspeed, which are the basic skills of a vampire. it is also natural for a vampire to have a keen sense of hearing. she also has a defensive ability that protects her and the people around her from danger. sorana also can predict the future; when used in combat, she can predict the enemy's movement. her fangs are retractable. her eyes change color depending on what she feeds on— red if she feeds on human blood and green if she feeds on animal blood. the only thing that makes her a human is her warm temperature and the blood flowing inside her.ㅤㅤㅤwith her family being the strongest among all vampires, threats are everywhere. at the young age of 14, her clan started to get hunted down by other vampires. her father transported sorana and her sibling to another country, the philippines, to protect them. the situation forced young sorana to adjust to a new environment with a completely different identity.ㅤㅤㅤcontinuing life as siji lilahk, she lives ordinarily. being a hybrid vampire is a secret kept from everyone except the fake parents they have. their fake parents are their father's right hand and assistant. they train siji and her sibling to withstand the urge to drink human blood and make them get used to drinking animal blood. she also practices to hone her skills and wield weapons— different combat knives. their clan's enemy has yet to make their presence known. for their safety and protection, they train themselves every day.ㅤㅤㅤsiji is currently the president and a general surgeon in a hospital she owns, SL Medical Center. although living with a fake identity, she searched for their allies within the country. her hospital became their blood bank, with animal blood as their food. she wants to co-exist with humans. so, she tries her best to help and protect them in various ways she knows how.
